    We were finally able to get Greyson a pair of AFOs and his posterior walker to help him progress. Sign language really helped him gain an understanding what things were and how to communicate his needs Shortly after he started being around other children, he started becoming verbal with the help of oral I wouldn’t change Greyson for the world, but I would change the world for Greyson. Being his help and witness, there is no greater feeling in the world.

    I guess I outgrew the need for the spotlight.  So this year, for my birthday I am having a party!  Didn’t I just say I outgrew the whole birthday party routine?  Yes, I did.  My CP definitely helps with that in several ways, especially when it comes to shoes.  My friends, family and community were all responsible for making that happen by attending and helping to give to those who need a bit of light in their lives.

    I need a wheelchair accessible vehicle to get from place to place in most cases.  Social media has helped me reconnect with old friends, as well as making new friends. These interests do not need to be disability related.  Meetups are planned ahead of time, which helps overcome the transportation obstacle. If you are not able to participate in the sport, volunteer to manage or help in anyway possible.
